Anyone else annoyed by the media referring to what's going on with the weather as "a heatwave"?

This isn't some k-e-e-e-e-razy, kooky, once-in-however freak weather. This is what summers look like now and people are dying. That has an entirely different set of terms ranging from manslaughter through to murder depending on how intentional lying about the cause is.
