I made some upcycled wide-legged trousers! A while ago, I bought a nice piece of curtain/cushion fabric from an op shop (thrift store) that just had a small square missing. I couldn't find a pattern I liked in the shops so I took one off my favourite denim trousers and adapted it to make the legs wider. I did a trial cut on some old bed sheets and had to adapt the pattern some more on the back side. In the end, I used the front of the trial cut for the blue trousers and added the honeycomb fabric on the back. This is also a previous op shop find (a duvet cover) that I've already used for quite a few projects.
Of course, the missing square of the white fabric ended up interfering with one of the front pieces but I pieced it together and it's not too obvious imo. The pocket is already interrupting the pattern a bit so it was the best solution to do it that way.
@ConnyChiwa They’re great! Nice work 💚
