Or if teams refuse to play the US, they incur a sanction of an automatic 3-0 forfeit at a minimum, players get knocked out of the World Cup for a decision made by the governing body they had no part in, and they have their dream of winning a World Cup destroyed.
That responsibility shouldn’t be placed on the players.
Football federations should do something like not supporting Infantino in the next election.
