This is probably not a concern....I mean we've never seen a personal computer displace super computers before...

I'm not sure how many know this but the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) is going big into data centres.
CPP just announced it will invest US$1.75 billion (C$2.4 billion) to support AI Infrastructure, led by operator EdgeConneX.
EdgeConneX (part of EQT) currently has over 90 compute facilities, mostly in North America and Europe. EQT is part of Sweden’s Wallenberg family business dynasty.
As of late 2025 they controlled 35% of the Swedish stock market
CPP also made a $1-billion commitment to Indian data-centre operator CtrlS last month, a $1-billion South Korean deal in November 2024 and purchased 12% of $24 billion Australia’s AirTrunk.
AirTrunk develops and operates data centres across the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.
Wise investments? I've got questions about this AI data centre investment strategy. 🤔

"Meanwhile, Smith is already plotting her next set of over-the-top demands, apparently claiming federal regulations on plastics pollution are hobbling an agriculture sector that is already being slammed by the climate impacts she’s striving so hard to push to the max."
Carney lied.
(Smith did too)
Now we can see how the Prime Minister operates and he's a lot like Smith.
Shout out to @Chigaze who pointed out the original MOU wording to me...I had forgotten.
energymixweekender.substack.comTrust. Broken.Carney seals the pipeline deal, and his energy minister touts a $43-billion taxpayer bailout as a good investment. Would you buy a used “energy superpower” strategy from these guys?
