Alright, the numbers are in. I'll start this fiesta after I finish my current one. A few words on the selected jobs:
1. A three-way tie here sees me taking Thief. Thief is arguably the worst job in the game: a utility class with no meaningful utility. The only real benefit is earlier High Potions by stealing, since most of the truly valuable steals show up after you get the Thief Knife, which lets you steal without Thief or its abilities. Artful Dodger may see some use too I guess. Oh, and Scram will probably come in handy in the Walse Castle basement and when I grind running away 255 times for the Chicken Knife.
2. Mystic Knight rocks. It's gimmicky, but it rocks. Spellblade is very powerful against enemies with exploitable weaknesses and even opens up some reliable instant-kill options. Sort of unimpressive when that's not happening but the highs really are high. Always a fun pick.
3. Geomancer is arguably the worst job in the game. It's not, but you could argue that. Geomancer's Gaia uses random abilities based on the current tileset to attack a random target (or all enemies) for no MP. As levels increase, they get more options they can randomly roll, and a lot of these become fractional damage and instant death attacks that don't work on most things you'd want them to. They often also hit with absorbed elements. However, they sometimes get crazy strong options for certain bosses. This includes the final boss btw.
4. Dragoon is arguably the worst job in the game. It sucks so bad lmao. Heavy armor and shield are nice, and they have a decent amount of bulk in general. They also have a rare steal spear from an enemy in the last dungeon that does bonus damage to one of the superbosses. Everything else is a negative. Spears are bad, Jump makes them leave the battlefield and forces enemies to attack their likely frailer companions, the Lance ability is only viable on mages and even then it's a bad option, and even their benefit of bulk is outclassed by every other class that gets heavy armor. It's very likely I just give the Dragoon Artful Dodger from Thief and have him just use his turns to throw potions.

Final Fantasy V Four-Job Fiesta #5 Poll Thread

Instead of rolling randomly for this one, I'm creating one poll per crystal. I will pick the most-voted-for job from each crystal. Ties will either be random from there or the worst of the tied jobs, idk. Standard fiesta rules apply, but I may ban rod smashing as well if I think it would be too easy.
