Collections let you curate, share, and discover groups of profiles, to help you find the people and content that interests you.

Here's how they're different:
✅ You decide whether your profile can appear in Collections and you can remove yourself from a Collection at any time
✅ Limited to 25 profiles each, no mass-follow shortcuts, and transparency when Collection details change to keep them useful and spam-free

The video starts on the Home page of a person's Mastodon account. The person clicks into the "Collections" page, found in the right-side navigation bar. They click the "New Collection" button, then search and select several accounts to add to their collection. Once they're done, they select "Continue." A new screen appears, which ask the person to provide basic details like Name, Description, Topic, Language, and Visibility. (For this person, the Collection is cats.) The final screen is a pop-up window which prompts the person to copy a share link, or post their collection on Mastodon.
