1. Northern Gateway was blocked because Indigenous opposition that strongly persists today. Nothing to do with regulatory burden.
2. Keystone was cancelled by Biden for climate reasons, not because of Canadian enviro regs.
3. Energy East was determined to not be profitable enough for the oilmen, so they walked away.
