I'm studying IT and like 3D-printing. Also I like to tinker with electronics in general and tinker even more broadly.
I'm interested in anything technical, but also enjoy photography and drawing.
I will mostly post stuff about my Home Lab and other techy stuff. Sometimes also posting photos I've taken.

So you also have a small VPS or something that is the reverse proxy and sends it through WireGuard?
Have tried a similar thing, but found that to be sometimes unreliable due to ISP stuff / Internet outage at home.

I am very happy about the VPS, it is one hosted by Hetzner and I only had good experiences with their support, although with new prices I'd not order another one, still on the old plan with 6€/mo instead of like a lot more.
Their webhosting plan is what got me there - 1,6€/mo with mail is great.
Would love to self host on own hardware but don't have static ips and don't want to use Cloudflare tunnels or similar.

Likely unami can do more stuff than Goatcounter, but for me its enough to see general stuff :3
Also their tracker is like 1KiB of extra stuff to load which is basically nothing. The webserver itself uses only 66MiB which is also good considering I only have 4GiB on the VPS its running on alongside Masto, Uptime Kuma and an Etherpad server :3

I've now set up Goatcounter because it is more lightweight than Unami. Interested in seeing what it will track, might remove it though later, liked having no JS at all on my page.

You have that detailed tracking?
Mhhhm I should look at my webserver statistics for my Webpage again and see if Hetzners in built Bot blocking works. Last time I checked 90% of page visits were bots :/

You have many followys so the potential for quite a few of them wanting to see your website is well not low.
