We don't need a data center moratorium. We need a ban on collection, storage, sale and use of any and all information associated with people. We need to make illegal the data broker industry, deprecating all business models that rely on who we are and what we do. That will include AI, but would mostly deprecate ads and search and algorithms. And we need to repeal the Dmca in favor of a privacy law that consumers and citizens can enforce.
