Getting to what Kant called universal unity of mankind is like the joke where a driver asks a passer-by how to get to Dublin. “If I wished to go to Dublin,” comes the reply, “I wouldn’t start from here.” — Zygmunt Bauman
Modern psychology is desert psychology: … the danger lies in becoming true inhabitants of the desert and feeling at home in it. — Hannah Arendt
A paper that does not have references is like a child without a guardian walking in the night in a big city that it does not know. — Bruno Latour
Q: What’s the best way to get to know you?
A: By interacting with me in the timeline... whether openly or in more roundabout ways.
Q: Why don’t you use your full name?
A: I don’t use my full name on social media. I never have... not even on sites where it’s usually required.
Q: Can I find out more personal information?
A: Yes, though it probably won’t help you get to know me here. If you search my full name, most of what you’ll find is about a famous German architect.
Q: Are you an architect?
A: No... and this has caused some funny and confusing moments. Mostly because I have a passing interest in architecture and happen to be from the UK.
Q: Can I meet you or talk to you outside this platform?
A: Yes... but only if you’re on my DM list.
Q: Where's the exit?
A: Either take the stairs or elevator and then look for Gate Four.
Q: What’s your favourite colour?
A: See Question One.
