i have seen neither of these films, but im familiar with the backrooms bit

and the fascination with liminal spaces as a form of horror, i think, says a lot about the overall atomization of modern society

This is not only a testament to how great these films truly are, but how horribly out of touch with its audience the Star Wars franchise has become. I wonder what it would take to turn that ship around. Meanwhile…Gen Z indie rules. 🤘
