Z2! 😍
Goodness, TER Grand Est, the state of these trains is an absolute disgrace for the railway! 😟
And a big "fuck off" to your customers. Come on, at least give this train a cleaning! Interior luckily looking much better.

A very dirty Z2 trainset, completely covered in Graffiti, outside Nancy station

Tired but otherwise decent looking interior

The very last Z2 of France work some TER on the Nancy-Épinal (-Remirémont) line. By far not every service, but there were two in the late afternoon which worked out nicely for some pictures.

Two completely graffiti covered Z2 trains along a canal. You can barely tell them apart from the bushes behind the line, despite their originally bright silver livery

It is really striking that only the Z2 (and Strasbourg's RRR) are heavily graffiti covered. All modern trains seem to be regularly cleaned or not even vandalised at all. Is this kind of a secret unspoken agreement between SNCF and the sprayers? 🤔

Two AGC in the old TER Lorraine livery, completely clean and free of graffiti, at the same spot

@dominicstucki Probably depends on where they are stabled?

Thought about this, too. But is it realistic that they are really stabled completely separate from any other stock everywhere? And if it's just one location, which is the problem: Building a fence like they have around many other stabling yards and stations?

Accountants. The cost of repair versus the value of the item.
