An Israeli drone strike killed a young Palestinian man in Gaza City on Saturday evening, in continuing violations of the ceasefire.
The drone shelled a group of young men on al-Jazra Street near the Asqula junction in the Zaytoun neighborhood, killing Muhammad Najib Ashour and wounding several others, local sources told Palestine Online.
Later Saturday, 5 wounded people, three in serious condition, arrived at al-Shifa Medical Complex after Israeli aircraft struck the vicinity of the Abu Sharkh roundabout in northern Gaza, local media reported.
In Beit Lahia, the bodies of two Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in recent days were recovered.
Israeli attacks since the October 11 ceasefire took effect have killed 1,066 Palestinians and wounded 3,445, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. A child was killed collecting water on Thursday.
