@darakian when I was thinking about this sort of stuff a few years back my conclusion was that we’d need to ultimately resolve down to byte ranges + allow ambiguous names in the model.

In Australian politics I learned the term “announceables”. Under Morrison it was a rule that there needed to be an announcement every day. Like all arbitrary targets it led to endless stupid bullshit.
