If you like fireworks, good for you, no judgement. But I think the time at which I last gave a shit about fireworks correlates approximately with when I wrote my first screensaver. I always find fireworks suuuuper boring. So samey. so fog.

The last time they did this, we bought a Unifi LTE failover, to keep *just* the POS terminals online. It doesn't work for shit. Only about one transaction in 20 goes through.
Last night at around 8pm, just about 24 hours after the power came back on, the Monkeybrains outage map showed SOMA back online. We very much are not; still down, 38 hours later.
Finally, this morning, we got an email response: "The current estimated time of service restoration is on Monday July 6th 2026 between 11:00 am - 12:00pm."
If that's true, that will have brought this outage to 64 hours.
I may need to downgrade the Monkeybrains "5 eights" to "5 fives".
