@MagnusIdode though I must say theological wrestling deepened my faith. I reached a point one Sunday when I realised that the people on either side of me had different beliefs to each other and me despite taking their faith very seriously and being in what was called a bible believing chutch

@MagnusIdode thanks for your response. One thing I am trying to do is to leave aside theological debate. After finishing my theological studies about 10 years qgo my focus (which grew out of that engagement wirh the text) has been on encountering Christ under the authority of his church. As he said 'blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven'

If you #block someone on here do they find out? Bad actor came after me yesterday with stories of being in Ukraine and being beaten up. All plausible, but no followers or posts. Anyway I reported the account and blocked it. Now I have another one I think.

Was a joy to get to #divinelitugy this morning. Many reasons. It was in English. Rather than 500+ people it was small and intimate. But mostly I have longed and longed for a sacramental expression of #christianity, though i wouldnt have been able to express that before. Now the body and blood has become deeply #mystical and I love it. #orthodoxy rocks
