My two-year-old tabby cat Socks is napping in the usual spot – on top of my fleece Beatles Abbey Road blanket, on the lounging bench by our dining room window, facing our deck & backyard. She's sprawling diagonally with her head resting on the windowsill, her body on the bench, and one foot dangling off the edge.
