Note, if you don’t see this build, then tap on versions towards the bottom of test flight, and tap on 0.1.0. I have two versions in test flight currently, this is build 146 in 0.1.0.
**What to test:**
In the Inbox, tap Select in the toolbar. Every row switches to a checkbox, and VoiceOver says "selected" or "unselected" as you check each one, no extra announcement needed.
Check a few episodes. The Add to Queue button in the toolbar stays grayed out until at least one is checked, then announces how many you've picked.
Tap Add to Queue. Every checked episode queues in one move, in the same order they already sit in your Inbox.
Clear inbox is unchanged. It still works on its own, outside Select mode.
Sunday night is Kashe's planning night. She sits with coffee gone cold and works through the whole week's inbox, one episode at a time. Tap. Queue. Tap. Queue. Fifteen, twenty times some weeks, whatever piled up while she was too busy with clients to keep pace.
She never minded it exactly. It was just time spent, like folding laundry. You do it because it needs doing.
Tonight there's a Select button that wasn't there before. She taps it. The rows go quiet, and something new sits next to each one, a little box. She checks the first, the second, VoiceOver saying "selected" plain and fast, no fuss. She works down the list, picking the ones she wants for the week, skipping a couple she's not ready for.
At the bottom there's a button now too. Add to Queue. She leaves it alone at first, waiting to see if it does something odd. It tells her how many she's picked before she even taps it.
One tap. All of it lands in the queue, same order she checked it in.
She sits there a second, coffee still cold, wondering what she's supposed to do with the rest of her Sunday. Earshot Podcasts https://testflight.apple.com/join/u8dj5UTr

@serrebi Curious, I can’t replicate this on my end, going to push 146 in a couple of hours. If that doesn’t fix it, can you grab a quick screen recording so I can hear it? Would appreciate it.

@serrebi That definitely would be a bug. Are you flicking through items or using Explore by touch so I can replicate this?
New post is up on Substack. Full Earshot status update: what shipped in the SwiftUI rewrite, the Inbox VoiceOver fix, and an inside look at Kashe, the beta tester whose story doubles as our TestFlight release notes.
Build 145 is live if you want to try it.
open.substack.comIt's been a few weeks since I posted here, so let me catch you up.Our Perspective drops Episode 2 on Tuesday!*Kashe's downloads stop vanishing after updates, and her longest lists finally take a question instead of a scroll.*
**What to test:**
Pull down on Inbox, Queue, or Downloads to search that screen in place. VoiceOver announces how many episodes match when you submit. In the Queue, drag reorder pauses while a search is active; rotor moves still work.
Downloads survive app updates now, and this update repairs your existing ones. "Export audio file" works on episodes you haven't downloaded. With Wi-Fi-only downloads on, a cellular attempt says "Waiting for Wi-Fi" and starts by itself when Wi-Fi returns. A dead link can't fake-finish as an error page.
The garbled pitch-shifted blip before an export or download is gone, and the 4x scan is pitch-correct.
Unfollowing the show you're listening to stops playback cleanly, no crash.
The Actions rotor reads your order everywhere now: Now Playing artwork, Queue group headings, and the move actions in Folders and Quick Actions. Bookmark and folder rows say Delete and Share once each.
Rotor Delete in Library and Folders asks to confirm first.
Also: the Show notes row is easier to tap, Mark as played speaks and moves focus to the next row, and full-player artwork shrinks at big text sizes so the controls stay on screen.
She had a rule about update nights she'd never said out loud: re-download the drive shows after, not before. Updates had a way of eating the files. The rows still said Downloaded, but out past the last bar the truth came out, silence where a show should be. She never reported it. She just moved the chore to the other side of the update.
This build retires the rule. Downloads hold through an update, and this one goes back and heals the ones that had already gone hollow. She updated, re-downloaded nothing, and drove out past signal with the shows just there.
Then she found the search. Pull down on the Queue and ask. A client had mentioned an episode weeks back and it was in there somewhere, buried in a list she runs deep. Three letters and it surfaced, and VoiceOver said how many matched. She's spent years flicking through her own backlog like it was somebody else's filing. Now the list answers.
