@Firesphere In Frankfurt, the US Consulate set off fireworks for its 250th-anniversary celebration on the hottest day of the year—while a forest fire risk level of 4 out of 5 was in effect. I wonder if Wellington had to endure something like that, too?

@schiermi It was a very, very bad bit of fireworks then! I doubt it, more likely some American immigrants here that may have set off some fireworks
