Coole neue Funktion.
Ich nehme den Post jetzt einfach als Anlass um von meiner Erfahrung am Freitag zu berichten.

Jemand hat den HobbyHimmel im Chat während der Jahresversammlung von codeberg erwähnt, und da wollte ich mir einfach mal anschauen was das so ist.

Und bin total begeistert!
Ich hatte keine Ahnung das es sowas hier in der Umgebung gibt. Kann jedem aus dem Großraum Stuttgart nur empfehlen sich zumindest mal die Webseite anzuschauen, oder einfach rein zu schneien.

Dass wir in unserer Halle keine Klimaanlage oder sonstige Temperaturregelungen (außer "Türe öffnen") haben dürfte kein Geheimnis sein.
Daher wird es auch teilweise etwas warm.
Wer das nicht so gut verträgt, kann inzwischen auf unserer Homepage schauen, was die Temperatur-Sensoren in der Halle messen. Dazu einfach auf hobbyhimmel.de ganz nach unten scrollen.

Australia is introducing free daytime power in July. They’ve installed so much #solar that the challenge is to use it effectively. People who can shift their electricity usage to the day (think retirees or people that work from home) can save a lot even if they don’t have solar. Anyone with a battery or two installed could see their power bill for many months go to almost zero.

Batteries are the key to having an economy that can run on solar and wind all the time.

@CursedSilicon This reminds me of the time I got my first Linux CD, in the mid 90s. Some version of Slackware with a 0.x kernel. There weren't loadable moduldes, you had to build a kernel for your hardware. And there was no 'make menuconfig', you had to go through like 1000 questions and if you didn't know some IO port, you had to do it all over again.
And the build took 2 days on my 386 SX16, even overclocked at 20 MHz.
