@galaxis i noticed all of this was coming from CN ip space. I need up blocking all of china :/
tencet was the biggest problem, but i was playing whack-a-mole so i just blocked all of china and the problem basically evaporated. there are still some bots hitting from an ip and never showing up again, but those are harder to capture

email is such a nice open protocol — not nice in that it’s an elegant protocol but nice because it’s so widely supported. you can stand up a piece of email software and it’ll likely just work.
last month i migrated yttrx’s email stack and it… just worked. there’s something so satisfying working with email.
my gf got me a keychain that’s three keycaps — reading “unc”. apparently it means old 🥲🥲🥲
@renata it’s been 12 years since i’ve lived in my home town of toronto and it already feels so different every time i return. i love little history tidbits about particular buildings. it makes the city feel less like a backdrop and more like a living place.
