To understand how ludicrous Britain is at power generation, there is a wind farm scheduled to be built in the Shetlands. It was approved under the last Labour Government… In 2009. It was delayed because of continual nimby objections. It’s in the middle of the sea. Who is it going to disrupt? Construction only started in 2020, and this was after the supreme court ruled that it could go ahead.

Imagine if we actually stopped letting boomers and ignorant neighbours object to everything that happened, we would have a much cleaner and better power grid.
