While the general statement is true, the line underneath undercuts the statement a bit. "I use these tools as well all the time". Okay but if you know that they undercut your ability to think ... why? What the fuck are we doing?

I think a lot of pro-genAI people are not thinking through the consequences, even for themselves.
A lot of business pinheads love the idea that now they can make an app without any pesky tech people. What they do not realize is: if you do not need the tech people, then the people paying you do not need you either.
