I am a little confused by the reactions to my last suggestion. It makes me wonder if I should also stop #LibreTranslate in #Fedilab, because it also uses AI. But it was already trained. When I use it, I only run it, I do not train it. I would like to hear your views before I decide anything.

LibreTranslate uses OpenNMT. It has nothing to do with LLMs. If you exchange the translation with LTEngine, you're able to use LLMs. But I guess you run it under the standard engine.
So, maybe some people argue in general against AI, but without knowledge about the technology behind it.
AI is for some people a buzzword for everything w/o distinguishing between machine learning, neural network frameworks and the special area of LLMs.
