Serious question. Does anyone else fear that, by having their cat being domesticated and living with us in our homes, they are not living their best life?

I love my Belle dearly, and hope she's ok with the lot in life she has in living with me, when she could be out in the world, hunting and exploring. But of course, I realize that feral outdoor cats have the reputation of having shorter lives.

I try to give her as many outlets to play and enjoy what I can offer her. 😻

@robinadams @alexadeswift @AncTreat5358 Makes total sense. They know their own mind and they are really good at getting what they want.

Alex - I think they get safety and security, as well as the excitement and fun they like. I think their lives are better as domesticated creatures. As you say - they live longer. They don't suffer as much. We pamper them, and that is good for both sides.
