I think it is 1,5° Celsius beyond which we are at risk of a runaway global warming event.

However the planet has been much warmer than that in the past (currently we are in an Ice Age albeit an interglacial period) so the planet will survive, as will life.

We however probably won't, having evolved specifically to live in an ice age. So yeah, local temperatures are not important it is the global mean which is. But these Goliath datacentres are definitely not good for the environment, globally or locally.
