@hugovalters You imply that the folks that invented Tor were not hackers. They 100% were, well the few I knew. Just hackers that happen to work for the US government.

@Xavier That is an incredible flex that you actually knew some of the original team! But you are 100% correct. I was guilty of leaning on the Hollywood/mainstream definition of 'hacker' for the intro hook. They were absolutely top-tier hackers by the true definition of the word, regardless of who signed their paychecks. Thanks for keeping the history accurate!
