Yeah. I haven't read the New Testament, but the Torah is pretty dang clear that God wanted the Jews to genocide an indigenous nation and thought owning slaves was acceptable.

@2something the New Testament, if taken seriously, cannot lead one to kill or displace any person. Jesus taught the innate value of each person as created by God in God’s own image, with no one being worth more than another. That loving and being loved are the point.
