@lerven @SyHoekstra as described. You can get special milk bag clippers with a sharp blade and a magnet on the back you keep on the fridge door, or you can just cut the corner with scissors.

@SyHoekstra @lerven curiously, a uniquely *Eastern Canadian* kitchen item. When I lived in Vancouver, milk came in giant plastic jugs with a screw cap.
