google says i'm not eligible for the extended warranty program T_T

@mehdi_benadel apparently it is a known issue with pixel 7a phones

@alreadydeadxd I understood that, but they still left you without reparation right ? I don't know how the extended warranty could work but best extended warranty is internet backlash.

@mehdi_benadel the extended warranty works for the batches google said were affected, turns out mine is not part of those, even though it has the same issue. and the regular warranty expired literally a couple of months ago, so i don't think there's anything for me to do other than replace the battery myself or get a new phone

If the back is already off that makes it easy to change the battery.
