Finding that #jellyfin is really slow for my personal photos and videos library. Now, I do have 200,000 files in there, but certainly no more than a few hundred in any given folder. At the top level, in fact, there are 2 folders and just entering the library takes 1-2 minutes to render those 2 alone.
Is this expected? Not really the focus? Anything I can do to speed things up?
I'm not really sure it ever really finished scanning after a week, honestly.

@limebar mine is faster than this but idk what your setup is, i load my libraries over the network from a nas on 2.5gbps ethernet which might make some difference but id think itd still be slower than local

@0x00string is your photos & videos library as massive? Movies and Shows run fine.
Maybe I'll experiment with a *much* smaller subset and see if there's some point at which it topples over.

@limebar probably not as large im guessing, i wonder what it is though because i have other libraries that are fairly large and these load snappy enough
