@avlcharlie Don't drool too much, meat was tough and I did not get the "sear" right. Was totally edible, but decent steaks were minimum $18 a lb. These were chuck steaks. I will dice up the remaining two steaks and make carne asada tacos this week.
I am going to make Sicilian-style steaks tonight. It's how we had them when we were there recently.
You first sear the steaks in a cast-iron pan with EVOO, butter, garlic, salt and pepper, and then transfer to a 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes to finish. After resting, dribble on some lemon juice.
Served with my wife's "award-winning**" mashed potatoes.
