Perhaps unsurprisingly given the on-going persistent cost-of-living crisis in the UK, the country's mobile service while being the cheapest among peer countries also has the word connectivity & download capacity of any EU or G7 country.

A clear trade-off between cost & efficacy has led to us getting rubbish service cheaply... the Q. is: is this really the best we can do?

For the mobile phone operators, saving them investment costs, this may be just fine.
