I kinda understand it more because my assumption is that they think assimilation will save them, or they gained certain privileges from assimilating. But trans men have always been Weird, and then you transition and youre seen as Weirder. Im sure most trans men had very little cis privilege when they were seen as cis so like. You get double discrimination and you still cant wake up to see this system serves no one? It feels intentional.
