My hub used to perform for local theater before we had kids. He's thought of getting back into it but his music playing schedule is just too heavy. I always loved working on the props and sets.

Folk magic is the practice of using what you have on hand. While it doesn't have the gothic richness and allure, some of us are quite happy with a downhome workbench.
Cast iron skillet : Cauldron
Tin Can : Spell jar
Pocketknife : Athame
Bandana or handkerchief: Altar Cloth
Receipt or recipe book: Grimoire
Red flannel squares or fabric blocks: Silk Sachets
Go to the land where a rock is and do your working there: Crystals
