Unsolicited advice on my posts will piss me off.

Oooo the theatre company we saw The Producers at last month just put out their 2027 show list:

Around the World in 80 Days and My Fair Lady are on the list, as well as an Agatha Christie murder mystery

If I knew for sure we were staying in the area I'd buy tickets immediately. As it is, I think we'll be buying only a few weeks in advance.

(If you are a twat I will block you instead of listen to you. I don't wanna hear how "it's about time" or any variation thereof. Be helpful and kind or fuck off)

Google is getting more blatantly pushy with AI in my email, so I think the next step in my journey is approaching.

Anyone know of an email service that is:

* affordable (sub $100CAN per year)
* has a clear anti-AI statement
* similar feel to gmail, I really don't wanna learn a whole fucking new system, I'm tired.

Lol at the idiot in my mentions who doesn't understand that agreeing there is a coherent point to the statement "all porn is exploitative" is in fact signalling a side.

You may not be all the way on side, but you sure as shit aren't on this side, which is pro sex work!

My disagreement is the premise that the other side of the debate has any point at all.

SOME porn is, sure... but I vehemently disagree with the notion that ALL porn is.

I can't help but think about the fact that at many protests people cover their faces and identifying tattoos and leave their hands visible.

Just a random thought that popped into my head while reading this, surely it's not related at all.

“Google wants a look at your hands before it lets you through. The company’s newest reCAPTCHA check, rolling out now as a test, asks you to switch on your camera and wave at it so an algorithm can decide whether you’re a human or a bot.

That wave is less casual than it looks. The system records a short video of your hand and pulls 21 hand-landmark coordinates from it, mapping your finger joints, your palm geometry, and the way you move in real time.

Google describes the purpose as liveness detection, a way for websites to fend off automated account creation, credential-stuffing, and other fraud. But this is still a biometric scan, collected so you can prove you’re a person and still involves turning on your cameras for Google.”
