@ahhhhhhhhhhh @Netzblockierer @mullvadnet @torproject @dw_innovation Tor was first developed for use by the US Navy but was open-sourced and they no longer control it. This was done so no country could presume all Tor traffic to be US military traffic.
Tor is proven effective against government demanded age verificarion laws e.g. for porn, I've tested it myself against the State of Florida's age verificariion laws.
If you are concerned the Navy or the NSA can read your Tor traffic, this is unlikely at the porn/age verificarion defeat level. There ARE atracks against Tor that have worked a few times, which is why Tor is just part of a layered defense when doing felony level stuff:

Now suppose someone posting a communique for say, destroying hundreds of Flock camerss uses a high gain antenna to connect to a coffeeshop or store wifi from nearby bushes, makes sure no camera is watching them, does not use a car to get there, uses Tor from the Tails live OS, and does nothing else. To defeat all these defenses at once is not easy! This user is probably more likely to be put in their grave by a reckless driver hitting their bike on the way home than put in jail by cops for the communique. Both are theoretically possible but neither is likely.
The electronic battlefield is like any other: there are attacks and defenses, nothing is 100% guaranteed ever, but knowing yourself and knowing your enemy can level the playimg field.
