The fireworks started up just down the hill from our house. The fog is keeping the display low in the sky. I always worry about fire but in the many years this has been happening no fires have resulted.
I still worry.
Summer really didn't like the noise. I tried laying down with her on the floor, the sofa and recliner. It wasn't working.
We finally opened up the big upstairs bedroom window covers to watch the display while cuddling up on the bed with Summer between us.
She totally relaxed.
When it was just noise she was frantic.
But she handled it fine when she could see. Now she isn't paying it any attention.
We can all relax now.
Hopefully they will finish up soon.
