I have two dogs. The smaller one (heeler mix) is the same. He barks at the first few then settles down and goes back to sleep.

The larger one is a 70lb pittie. The big bad boy turns into a cowering quaking mess. Tonight wasn't as bad as some fireworks events. I was able to sooth him pretty quickly and he went to sleep eventually as well.

I watched it too. I also watched the sequel. It was okay, but didn't have the same heart. Brent Spiner stole the show and saved it for me.
