Biking 26 miles in the rain is not exactly on my bucket list (or any list), but I can see the appeal if it was warm enough. I hope the weather is better for those in the Tour de France.
We have a good amount of cloud cover today, which is helping keep the house cooler. It's still very muggy, so after a walk I put off all outside work until later in the week.

Happy #SofaSunday. We're still under a heat advisory with triple digit heat indexes expected later, but clouds kept it comfortable enough for an early walk.
Tomorrow, I have bloodwork for a checkup later in the week. Since it involves a 12-hour fast, I've set my phone alarm to remind me when that 12-hour stretch starts. My brain seems to have taken a vacation in this heat, so every reminder helps. Otherwise, I'll mindlessly sit down with my nightly bowl of ice cream.

I'm glad you closed your windows, as smoke from fireworks isn't good for your lungs. Setting them off so early in the morning is incredibly rude, though it's obvious they don't care about others.
Is it legal to set them off in your area? if not, I'd call the police. I'm not sure it would help, but might be worth a try.
