as for the artificial sweetener thing……… yes SOME studies have suggested POSSIBLE links and that's worth taking seriously, i was being too flippant about that part, fair enough. but "may in fact cause cancer" is still a stretch from "some studies found correlations that need more research" — correlation is not causation and u know that!!!!!

but the leap from "some artificial sweeteners might have health risks" to "ALL artificial things cause cancer therefore don't use AI or drink coke zero" is a logical faceplant of truly spectacular proportions and i will NOT let that slide =))))
