Sometimes I think Democrats are waiting for the perfect trans girl to come along who was on blockers and HRT her entire life and who can be scientifically proven to be physically equivalent to a cis girl (to their satisfaction, as studies showing this just get ignored) before they acknowledge we even exist and deserve rights, but of course, their actions are helping to ensure that trans girl won't exist because she'll be denied care and the ability to play sports in the first place.

The more I try to parse the liberal mindset, the more I become convinced elites are elites, they're a hive mind of affluent white people who don't want things to change, and the only difference between the liberal and conservative ones is the liberals have a ready made army of apologists online.

There is no point conceding 9-0 that Title IX doesn't protect trans people.

Even in a technical sense, if the plaintiff is forced to concede the argument in that specific case, you say, "But this would win on the merits otherwise because trans women are women and Title IX protects them."

These justices are sellouts.

Democratic dissents are likewise worthless; no matter how eloquently written, they don't count for anything. If they're going to be performative about this shit, they might as well use it for good instead of conceding the point to fascists.

Liberal jurisprudence of the "just calling balls and strikes" variety is utterly useless at a time when the laws are being written by fascists and the six Republican justices on the SCOTUS just make up whatever they want.

As far as I can tell, Trump is too busy watching himself on TV to go do his speech.

A bunch of these people have been in 100F heat for 12 hours, rained on, evacuated, threatened by police and Secret Service, and are now stranded outside the venue. Many are giving up and going home without ever seeing Trump or his spectacular fireworks show. And I hope they hate him and their lives right now.

There's a lot of wet, angry, miserable MAGA assholes at the national mall right now. 😏

I hope they all get heatstroke.
