I love Silo on Apple TV. But I will wait 10 weeks until all episodes are published, so I can binge it all, should I want to. This "one episode per week" brings back cable TV feelings. A thing I hoped we would leave behind. Sometimes progress walks backwards, I guess.

@jwildeboer Doing the same with Disney's Will Trent. Except watching every 3 weeks, as 3 episodes are the perfect size for an evening, right after Dinner :)

@jwildeboer Probably to prevent people from the subscribe, binge, unsubscribe cycle, so they can make more money off people.

In my case it has exactly that result. I'll subscribe to one of those services for 3 Month every 1.5-2 years, binge everything there is and then let go. It only hurts if one season just started ... then again, only a little, as it'll be still there 2 yrs later. Still fresh, at least to me :)

@jwildeboer Or just not watch at all.
I love the Apple adaptation of Silo. But I don’t like Tim “Apple” groveling before our Fascist enemies.
This is not a purity test. If not Apple, then maybe stop buying from Amazon.
And this is a process that will take a while. I’m still using my IPhone 13. And I’ll probably never be able to completely disconnect from evil tech entirely. But I think every little step helps.
