Pretty close, but bird watching. Probably even star gazing if you don't go too crazy with stuff.

Good call, if a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if Ark would be considered not high-spec anymore since it's a bit of an older game (9 years). And while the learning curve isn't exactly steep, it is long, but also more manageable in a group since you can specialize. But it isn't FOSS, and I couldn't judge it on accessibility.
But, but... dinosaurs! 🦕 And it's so pretty. 😢

That'd be nice. The trick is there being like a million games out there. Perhaps I'm just disappointed from the fact that I never get to play with any of my IRL friends because we all play different games. For instance, anyone play Ark: Survival Evolved?

It's an ancient political strategy, demonization. Take a group you don't like, then make up something people won't like, give the name of the first group to the second, and then people will mistakenly think that anyone in the first group is really in the second. It's happened so many times before, like hackers, witches, pagans, rednecks, communists, etc. All hated groups unless you look at what they were/are really about.
@OrionKidder @cmccullough
Exactly. It's not the tech that's the issue, it's how it's being used.
