Did you know that disabled people make up 16% of the world's population?

July marks #DisabilityPrideMonth, a recognition of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)(1990) in the US. I’m someone living with what’s known as an “invisible disability”, which is (for me) a physical condition that is not visible from the outside, yet limits my movements, senses, and activities.

People with any form of disability are humans, too. They deserve dignity and respect simply for being. The ADA codifies several things that help with accessibility to services, programs, and facilities that able-bodied people sometimes take for granted.
