A question for the Masto mind trust.

I need a GPS map that can provide high quality location information (within a few feet) that runs on an iPhone and will work without network connectivity.

Well, without network connectivity in the wild. I would like to be able to download a satellite image of about a square mile around me, but then I need to be able to see myself on that map as I move about.

Is this something I can do with OpenStreetMap?

@sortova Haven’t had a chance to play with it too much but @CoMaps seems to do what you want. I know I had an OSM-based app I used long ago on travel but I can’t recall the name.

“Accuracy” is going to depend a lot on what’s around you signal-wise and/or how good a view of satellites you’re giving your phone at the time.

There’s only so much particular apps can do to improve that.
