The phrase "only cowards wear masks" is making the rounds on liberal, American fedi.

People who wear masks:

* covid cautious people, many of whom are immunocompromised. Great solidarity, echoing fascist talking points that shit on disabled people and carers.

* Anarchists. Aka, the people who actually act against fascists instead of just posting Reuters pictures to social media. [See sarcastic comment above.]

* And also fascists because affordances of physical objects don't change depending on who is holding said object. So is the problem with the fascists that they also know opsec? Is it their poor aesthetics? Or is it, you know, the fascism that's the problem? Answer in the replies, please.
