Had breakfast with a half dozen friends this morning at The Old Place, and it remains one of the best breakfast burritos in all of SoCal. (Cinnamon rolls are unreal as well.) But mostly, it has an ambience and sense of place that is really unmatched. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it.

Never occurred to me to him them up for breakfast.
Can second the suggestions - fantastic place. For new visitors - *do* read the website. They have fixed meal times and very limited seating. It looks like they've expanded that to outdoors? Point is - book a reservation, and bring the family.

@tbortels they are only open on Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast, and I found out about them when the LA Times did a list of the top 10 breakfast burritos in SoCal and they were on it (this was back before pandemic I think)
