Its a really good Q.; and that goes back to how the media burnished his reputation for him... he's been given the easiest of rides on his ascent; which for him makes this sudden turn in the media all th more puzzling I imagine

@ChrisMayLA6 A possible explanation is that he went to one of the 'right' schools and was a former city trader.
If he'd gone to the local comprehensive, he wouldn't have got a look-in.

indeed, he has....of course as a 'class warrior' od deuces standing, when I hear a posh accent, I immediately feel for my wallet to check they've not got their hands on it
