@szlandmine mint. I have a little usb I plug in then I restart my computer and hit f2 and it boots from there

@Axolotl1 do you still have windows installed? this is a long shot but try going into the old control panel and checking power options for "change what the power buttons do" and then see if fast boot is turned on. if it's on, you wifi card won't turn off when you turn off your computer and because it's already "on" for windows when mint boots it can't use it
